Verrucae Cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen)

Service Description

For the stubborn verrucas we offer cryotherapy (freezing) sessions with liquid nitrogen. Short and effective treatment with the non-toxic gas. During the treatment verrucas are first paired for better effect and then frozen to temperatures up to -196 C, which is 5 to 10 times cooler than the home freezing kits, however the treatment is bareable and usually no anaesthesia is required. After treatment a small dressing or a pad will be applied for comfort. For best results keep dry for up to 24h. Might need several sessions depending on the depth and 'age' of the verrucae. Before booking - please call/message the podiatrist first to establish suitability for this procedure.
